I had a wonderful weekend. One that was full of SO much laughing. So much so that at one point I felt like I was high.
This weekend was spent eating Chik Fil A.. twice.
Finding a Brugger’s Bagel. Eating lunch there then studying at the coffee shop next door. Then going back to Brugger’s Bagel for a “pre dinner snack”. Guys, it was NOT a pre- dinner snack.
Korean sweet potato lattes
Some hardcore singing in the car. By the way, I have decided that if you can’t sing like a wanna be rock star in a car with your significant other, than you’re probably with the wrong person.
Good hair days. OMG I had a good hair weekend!
Elevator dances.
Getting Scotch to pinky swear he’ll buy me a dachshund within the next 4 years. I compromised and agreed that it would be brown and named “Churro”. If I had my way it would happen NOW and it would be black and named Finnick Odair Kim.
Too many jokes about homeostasis and other nerdtastic stuff
Hanging out at Target at 10pm on a Saturday night because that’s what REAL couples do. That’s how we roll yo. That is how we roll.
Korean food and banchan galore.
I also learned that I suffer from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. Or at least that’s what is being assumed for now. Apparently there is no medication or cure for it and it’s just something I have to learn to cope with for potentially the rest of my life.
I cried.
I know it’s not cancer (thank god) but you have to understand, it’s been kind of my thing to be 100% perfect when it comes to my health. I can proudly consumed a ridiculous amount of dairy without any reaction. I stay the same color when I drink and have no allergy that I’m aware of except towards ignorant people. Getting sick is a joke because it rarely happens so finding out I have this stupid (often times really physically annoying) “weakness” that I can’t permanently repair, it’s really disappointing. I have it pretty bad too to the point where I don’t feel safe doing a lot of the things I love to do, like running for a long period of time. Felling off balance and like the room is spinning when you do something as simple as blow dry the left side of your hair, it sucks.
I guess I no longer feel .. invincible. It’s not a really great realization.
On the flip side I did also learn that I am 5’4 and a half. That’s a big deal for an Asian girl like me. BIG DEAL.
Anyways. I had a wonderful weekend and I hope you guys did too.
