Procrastination at it’s best.

  • I should have studied yesterday. No, I should of studied yesterday AND the day before. I suck.
  • One day I will write tumblr posts on my iphone and not make so many stupid typos. I have a feeling some people out there think my first language is not English based on some of the horrific writing that has appeared on this blog lately. My apologies.
  • One day I will become an editing NAZI. Until then I will continue to be lazy and depend on autocorrect and spell check to give off the illusion that I kind of know how to write.
  • This dizziness/vertigo thing is getting out of hand. Wondering if it’s a valid excuse for postponing the exam I have in T-minus 4 hours.
  • I’m making an attempt to drink a normal amount of coffee this week.
  • I had to stage an intervention for my mom. One day later, I walk home to find a box of cinnamon rolls sitting on the counter. That woman is a lost cause. She keeps pulling her menopause card. Damn that menopause.
  • Bought a bus ticket to NYC this weekend to see some guy I know. I feel a little guilty that what I’m really looking forward to are those 4 hours on the bus I’ll get to spend reading. I just want to read ya’ll. I just want to READ.
  • This sounds stupid but I feel lucky that I get to tell my kids one day that I worked as a barista and at a bookstore and as a trader when I was young. I hope one of them grows up to be a famous award winning director/screenwriter who makes a movie about my life in some over dramatic and exaggerated way.
  • Contemplating what city I should go watch The Naked and the Famous perform in. Chicago? New York? Carborro, NC?
  • Really, I should have studied last night. But shopping with Jeanne was so worth it. It feels so great to hang out with good friends and score some great deals all whilst drinking two grande lattes.. (per person).
  • Jeanne (also Loyola Alum former Chicagoan) and I had potbelly’s for lunch yesterday. We cried during the entire meal.
  • I’m going to fail my first exam tonight. I should probably stop writing this post and get off the internet and start asking god for forgiveness for not studying. I’m hoping I can strike a deal and beg him to send a decent amount of snow to DC around 4:30pm.
  • I love the smell of new books, especially new textbooks, and sometimes I discretely sniff them. This morning I did just that but almost got caught which resulted in my getting a paper cut on my nose. It was totally worth it.
