Okay, I wasn't going to take part in the Ipad hype... →
Check out this article written by technology journalist Nicholas Deleon.
His skepticism is exactly how I feel about this “giant ipod touch”. I’m trying to picture people toting around a 10 inch screen on a bus/train during 5:30pm rush hour. I don’t know.. I just think it’s too big for convenience.
americaneulogy:
In this economy, a high school diploma no longer guarantees a good job. I urge the Senate to follow the House and pass a bill that will revitalize our community colleges, which are a career pathway to the children of so many working families. To make college more affordable, this bill will finally end the unwarranted taxpayer-subsidies that go to banks for student loans. Instead,...

January Something 2000 Something..
What a ridiculous, wasted day.
Today I..
-Got into a PMS induced fight with my sister which I admit, may have been completely my fault. Sharing this fact on the Internet is my way of apologizing.
-Called my mom in tears to vent about the fight I had with my sister-which in retrospect was a very adult thing for me to do. (Note sarcasm)
-Went to a cafe to “study” with Hbear only to...

No woman really wants a man to carry her off; she only wants him to want to do...
– Elizabeth Peters (via kari-shma)
Just thought this quote was reblog worthy. Also thought it might help my male readers in their quest to becoming better men/boyfriends.
Like I always tell people, it’s the thought that counts.
4 used bookstores later and $3.50 poorer, I am now a proud owner of Ender’s Game.
I wanted to do a victory dance at Myopic Books, but at the time, I was with a friend that I like very much. So in fear of jeopardizing our friendship and scaring her away, I postponed it until now.
(Throws arms up and cheers while jumping around in circles. Kind of like Rocky when reaches the top of the...

The 22-Year -Old's Guide to Living on the Cheap. →
Whenever I hear my fellow mid-late 20 year old peers complain about their “low” 56k salaries, I just want to punch them in the face. Then run away with all their “hard earned money”..
If $30,000 a year is considered “cheap living”, than we Americans have it good. Well, that is unless you have children. If you disagree with this statement I hereby declare as...
Lina-dog Kim 1995-2010
I just got off the phone with my mom and it has been confirmed, our dog of 15 years has passed.
We’d been expecting this for the last couple years now. She’d been aging (beautifully may I add) beating all the odds and outliving her family (there were 4 of them) and all her canine friends. We knew this was coming but I guess we always assumed she’d go naturally, like dogs are...

Props to Love Done Right.
So this post might be a weird one because I do not personally know the two people I’m about to write about. I do follow them on tumblr so I guess in some way, they aren’t COMPLETE strangers, right? If anything, this is like writing about two dating celebrities like “Bennifer” and “Brangelina” which I think in the blogging world is considered normal. I’m...

I’m all about PC>Mac, especially when it comes to Lenovo notebooks. I along with all my uncles (whose professions cover computer programming /IT consulting) have been faithful users for the last 5+ years.
You see, we don’t need a “genius bar” because our PCs never break =p

Big World, Even Bigger Dreams..
Currently stuffing my face with pretzel bread rolls from TJ in hopes that their deliciousness will bring me some much needed distraction.
I made the mistake of calculating my life/future this morning and am now wrestling with quarter life crisis-y thoughts. Pretzel bread, why aren’t your magical powers kicking in yet? Hurry..
They say “chase the passion and everything else will...

Dear Men,
Rather than trying to figure women out, why don’t you try getting to know a woman or at least learn that not all women are the same.
Sincerely,

NYE Resolutions
Originally I had written 10 specific goals I wanted to achieve in 2010. But after tweaking it a little I decided to just chuck the entire post and write this:
If there is anything that I have learned from the last decade, it is that life is unpredictable in both good ways and bad. All I want by Dec 31, 2010 is to be able to look back and be proud of the obstacles I’ve overcome, the...
